Production Assembler

Production Assembler

Wilmanco, Inc. is a contract manufacturer of precision RF technology with a focus on GPS antennae. Located in Moorpark, California, the company has been in business for over 40 years and is closely held.

Position

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Assembler performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass-produce products such as GPS Antennae by performing the following duties.

Principal Accountabilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Place parts in specified relationship to each other.
  • Bolt, clip, screw, cement, or otherwise fasten parts together.
  • Tend to machines, such as press or riveting machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
  • Work at different workstations as production needs require.
  • Work on the line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Desired Qualifications: The Production Assembler candidate should have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience and one to three months related experience in this field.

Working Conditions: A mix of office and shop environments. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
